Johns Hopkins was the first American research
university, founded more than 125 years ago for the express purpose
of expanding human knowledge and putting that knowledge to work
for the good of humanity. Today The Johns Hopkins Institutions
constitute the largest private employer in Maryland with 3,100
full-time faculty, 28,000 staff, hospital and health system employees
and over 18,000 students. With a University budget of over $2.4
billion, an endowment of $1.695 billion and over $1.14 billion
in research dollars Johns Hopkins maintains a well-educated workforce
of community-minded scientists, physicians and administrators and
we are proud to host this conference.
Vendor Sponsorship
The conference will include information sessions,
case studies, presentations, demonstrations,
hands-on workshops and vendors are invited
to set up a table/booth and help sponsor this event.
The main goal of this one-day event is to

mobile technology in education and healthcare, and to encourage
the further adoption of mobile technology.

500 attendees expected -- 515 already registered
All affiliates of the Johns Hopkins Institutions
are being invited. The Johns Hopkins University is a large and diverse
organization. Three schools and the Hospital are located on the
East Baltimore campus: the Schools of Medicine, Public Health,
and Nursing. Attendees are expected to come from other affiliates
including Johns Hopkins Health System, Kennedy-Krieger Institute,
and the main academic campus of the Johns Hopkins University.
A large number of faculty, clinicians, nurses,
and medical students are expected to attend as the greatest numbers
of PDA users are from this group. Special efforts are being made
to create an interdisciplinary approach and faculty, students,
and staff from other Hopkins academic campuses will be invited
so that we may facilitate the most engaging and exciting event
possible.
